Plums are dried whole and slowly, which is what gives prunes their dark colour and their depth of flavour. We supply them with the stone in or pitted, calibrated by the number of pieces per kilogram so you know exactly what arrives.
Prunes are one of the best-known digestive foods, and the reason is real: soluble fibre plus naturally occurring sorbitol.
Calibration is by pieces per kilogram — 70/80, 80/90, 90/100 — so portioning and packing downstream stays predictable.
Prunes carry the biggest share of our 250 tonnes a year, and HS 0813 20 is covered by our GACC registration for China.
