Apricots are laid out to dry within hours of picking, so the sugars concentrate without the fruit ever being stewed. We sort by colour and size across six grades — red, yellow, sugared, Limonka, natural and cut — and we do not use dye.

The orange pigment is beta-carotene, which the body converts to vitamin A. Apricots also carry potassium and iron, which is why they are sold as a heart and circulation food.
Lots are separated by shade and size before packing, so a shipment of light fruit stays light. You get the grade you bought, crate after crate.
Dried apricots fall under HS 0813 10, one of the two codes our GACC registration covers, so this line enters China under our own registration.
